This is one of the shortest coal trains ever on Union Pacific's Shoreline Subdivision. It turns out that the train that went north this past weekend had some mechanical issues back in Illinois (or perhaps even further away). 27 of the loaded coal cars that had been set out eventually made it from Proviso to Wisconsin on this oddly-symbolled CPRSH1-12 train. The train, which is being handled by a Butler LPA82X crew, will meet an empty hopper train at Belgium, then head straight into the Edgewater Generating Station in Sheboygan. The 27 loads will be quickly dumped, and the crew will return with the empties to Butler.
