SMS Railroad 9069, a Baldwin DS4-4-1000, lugs a bunch of cars from the Conrail Shared Assets interchange to the Pureland Industrial Park. Much of SMS's operation here features two tracks, an indication of how busy this little railroad is. When this locomotive rolled out of the Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1949, it was originally numbered PRR 9069; it survived the Penn Central merger, then was acquired by the New Hope & Ivyland, had a stint on the Tyburn Railroad, and eventually ended up here on the SMS. It is nicely finished in PRR Brunswick Green.
