SMS Railroad's Baldwin AS-616 554 is deep in switching duties near the Conrail interchange. SMS is known for its roster of old Baldwins. This unit was built across the Delaware River for Kaiser Steel in June 1952 and served a variety of owners, including an illustrious stint with the Trona, before landing here in South Jersey in the mid 1990s.
