A pair of unique GE locomotives lead a White Pass & Yukon Route downhill from the summit toward Skagway. These two units, 95 and 96, were part of an order built in 1963. The White Pass fleet of GEs underwent a modernization program which replaced the original Alco 251 prime movers with Cummins QSK45L engines during 2009-2013.
