Bay-Houston Towing's tractor tug Wesley A heads south light boat in the Houston Ship Channel. Omnidirectional vessel was designed by naval architects Robert Allan Ltd., of Vancouver BC, and was constructed by Main Iron Works in Houma, Louisiana, in 2007. Unique design prompted Robert Allan to say 'many viewers still puzzle about which end is forward and which is aft.' The tug is reported to operate equally at ease in either direction.
