Wisconsin & Southern's local works north through Saukville, Wisconsin. Brown field at left is all that remains at the former Freeman Chemical site. The plant, established in 1948, changed hands several times; after a stint as Cook Composites and Polymers beginning in 1990, it was sold to Arkema in 2011. Production ended in 2015, and the remaining buildings were cleared in 2021.
