Sometimes you end up in the right spot at the right time! The westbound had just cleared (you can see it receding in the distance) and an eastbound popped out behind. The trailing Union Pacific unit was having difficulties, and the crew member had just stepped out of the cab to see what's what (I don't think I'd want to be on the running board on a train doing about 50 MPH with an equally-fast train on the adjacent track screaming by!). As if to add insult to injury, the train's FRED malfunctioned later, too, necessitating a maximum speed of 30 MPH. We're west of Toluca, Illinois.
