crosses the Wolf River at Gill's Landing. This span was built as a swing bridge; when the mechanism broke a few years ago, CN had it rebuilt as a vertical lift bridge, with all of the mechanicals located on the center pier. When closed, there is 7.79 feet of clearance between the standard low water level and the underside of the structure; when open, there is 16.00 feet of clearance - enough room so most small craft won't scrape. During the boating season, April 20 through October 15, the bridge may be opened with six hours' notice to CN (12 hours in the off season).
