Canadian National's L507 job spent a little over an hour switching Charter Manufacturing today. The train came north with EJ&E SD38-2 660, two loads of scrap, and three empty TTJX bulkhead flatcars. First order of business was to collect eleven empty scrap cars from within the plant and place them on the main north of switch. Next, the five inbound cars were brought into the plant, where the two scrap cars were spotted. The three empty bulkhead flats were then spotted in the outbound finished products area for loading (the last of which may be seen in this photo). Finally, the eleven empty scrap cars were picked up to begin the southbound trip back to North Milwaukee.
