Gigantic westbound BNSF stack train S-LPCLHA1-26L crosses the Des Moines River, and out of Iowa & into Missouri, at milepost 252 on the former Santa Fe. Seems hard to believe that, at least in some months of the year, this was once a navigable waterway, with steamboats traveling to and from Des Moines.
