Marquette Transportation's D&R Boney, just out of Lock 6, heads upriver with 15 empties. Marquette recently acquired this Dravo-built Viking class boat, and three others, from ACBL. The four were originally built for Indiana & Michigan Electric, which eventually became part of AEP (American Electric Power). Marquette crews have been busy obliterating the former markings and prepping it for Marquette colors, markings and new name; the Marquette canoe logos on the funnels are already done.
