Museum ship Edna G rests at Two Harbors. This steam-powered tug was built in 1896 and spent the majority of its life assisting ore boats into and out of Two Harbors. By the late 1970s, more and more lake boats were equipped with bow thrusters, obviating the need for Edna G. Her final assist came on December 30, 1980, after which time the boiler's fire was extinguished for the last time. The following year, the boat was donated to the city of Two Harbors.
