The boat formerly known as Harlan Richardson is undergoing major work at Texas Marine Shipyard. Today, new hull plates are being fastened to the bow, and the boat's refurbished screws will be fitted. Richardson Companies divested itself of its marine assets; the boat was purchased by Riverview Tug Service's related company North American Marine in 2023. After work is complete, it'll earn its keep as a lock assist helper boat on the Upper Mississippi.
