Three boats congregate at Lock 6: At foreground, tied up on the upper long wall is Riverview's Mrs. P., which had just assisted Ingram's Mark Duley downbound into the lock. Mark Duley's 9-barge tow is too long to fit into the chamber in one pass, so the barges will flush through first, then the Duley herself will lock through. Mrs. P. will accompany the Duley into the lock, and upon exiting will run down the river and wait for the Duley to arrive at Lock 7 and provide assistance there. Meanwhile, Riverview's Clifford H. Galley has recently arrived and will wait here to assist the next southbound tow later this evening.
