Long Island Rail Road train 657 departs Stony Brook for Jamaica. Earlier this evening, the train deadedheaded here from Port Jefferson (to the east), and paused while the railroad's fleet of eastbound commuter trains passed. This is the only train that originates (for passengers) here, and the only train scheduled to use the siding.
