Amtrak train 8, the eastbound Empire Builder, roars though the Tamarack interlocking west of Reeseville, Wisconsin. Two P42 locomotives (the second unit is number 8, coincidentally) lead one baggage car, eleven Superliners of various configurations, and five roadrailer trailers filled with mail.
