UP's LPA18 train heads north on the Clyman Sub. This subdivision is undergoing a maintenance blitz, receiving lots of ballast, new ties and a few new rails. But for now, during the project, the track from Watertown to Clyman is under a 10 MPH speed restriction. Ordinarily, a single geep is more than enough to handle the limited traffic on the branch; the big GE was used on a work train the other day and will be dropped off at the Adams Sub for furtherance elsewhere.
