An eastbound Norfolk Southern intermodal train rounds the curve in Newport, Pennsylvania. This is the former Middle Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad. It's now more than 35 years since the demise of the PRR; in that time two of the four main tracks have been removed but train frequency has increased dramatically.
