WNYP's Farmers Valley turn, OL-3, crawls through the greater Olean-Portville area on its way to Farmers Valley. Owing to a tie renewal project, and the possibility of malfunctioning crossing protection due to broken bond wires, each public crossing in the work area had to be flagged by the conductor or other personnel.
