Mrs. P has faced up to the head of Dennis T. Delaney's tow and, now that Molly Patricia is clear, the outfit will head south to Lock 6. When tows have 12 barges, the Riverview assist tug will frequently tie on to the head like this and pull the front half through the lock. This saves a bit of time as opposed to flushing the head six out of the lock. It also positions the assist tug in a good place to precede the tow south to the next lock.
