The bluffs on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi River are keeping the BNSF Q-SSECHC1-08A in shadow as it passes Lock and Dam number 4 in Alma. The lock is dewatered, undergoing repairs. It's a beehive of activity what with all the cranes, machinery and whatnot. Once the sun hits the metal roof of the US Army Corps of Engineers building, the frost will disappear rapidly.
