An extra train, MBUBIX-8, heads south (compass direction east) on the Milwaukee Sub. This train consists of a lot of surplus cars for Altoona, in western Wisconsin. Union Pacific in the midwest is oversubscribed now, the result of weeks of cold weather. There's no room for these cars in Altoona, Adams, or Butler, so this train is being run to Bain, where it will sit until Altoona thins out. But the first stop is St. Francis, where the lead unit, GMTX GP38-2 2304, will be turned on the wye.
