Union Pacific's MDNALS train crosses North Avenue shortly before sunset. This train, fairly new on the Butler lineup, originated in Denison, Texas, and is comprised of empty sand hoppers bound for Altoona and other points around western Wisconsin. The 180 or so cars in this train will be sorted at Butler Yard before continuing west.
