Engineer Mike accelerates slowly while Conductor Mike, on the ground a few cars back, counts off half the train at the traditional breaking point, Stahl Road, on the south side of Sheboygan. Crew will take the first half of the train into the Edgewater power plant, then return for the second half. They'll be in the clear by the time the wayfreight arrives early tomorrow morning.
