Uh-oh. At 11:12 PM on April 9, LPA79, a nine-car Sheboygan wayfreight led by GMTX GP38-2s 2198 and 2301, derailed when they hit a washout at milepost 115 on the way north to Sheboygan. Five cars derailed. This is the rear of the train.
All sorts of Union Pacific personnel had arrived by daybreak; it would be at least another hour or so before the emergency response contractors would arrive to begin the long job of rerailing equipment and repairing the track.
