The two units and first two (underailed) cars of last night's LPA79 train have been moved north by the first LPA79X extra crew, clear of the wreck site. In another hour or so, a second LPA79X extra crew will arrive from Butler, climb on the power, shove back to the wreck, tie on to a rerailed car, and return to here before heading back to Butler with the previously peeled-off cars of the rear of the train. And later the regular LPA79 crew will arrive, take these three cars to Sheboygan, then head back to Cedar Grove to spot the Cheese Man.
Later, a work train will arrive with panel track and ballast so that the track reconstruction can commence.
